What are Lip & Dermal Fillers?
Lip & dermal fillers are made up of a naturally occurring substance called Hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found throughout the body such as in our lips and the deep layers of our skin. As we age, the body’s hyaluronic acid levels decrease to cause visible signs of ageing such as thin lips, skin sagging and wrinkles. Dermal fillers restore volume, lifting and shaping the lips while treating lines such as smoker’s lines, marionette lines (mouth-to-chin lines), and naso labial folds (nose-to-mouth lines).
